When you throw a 102 mph fastball as Hunter Greene does, when you were the No. 2 pick overall in the draft as Hunter Greene was, and you’re added to the 60-player pool as Hunter Greene was, it’s a fair question:
Could Greene pitch for the Reds this year?
“I wouldn’t say no to anybody,” Reds general manager Nick Krall said. "But I think he needs to go out and pitch. This is the first time he’ll be pitching in 18 months. He is going to face hitters that are a lot more experienced than he is.
