How the Cincinnati Reds starting rotation is taking shape

GOODYEAR, Arizona – Cincinnati Reds manager David Bell has committed to using a five-man rotation to start the season, but he hasn’t announced which starting pitchers.

Since the Reds have only seven starting pitchers in camp, and two of them have minor injuries, Cincinnati won’t have as many options to start the season. Here’s what the rotation could look like during the first week of the season.

Since the Reds named Castillo the Opening Day starter, he has been on track to start on a normal four days rest on April 1.
