It’s been a wild ride getting there – after being acquired from the Dodgers after the 2015 season, Peraza represented the Future of the Middle Infield™ for the Reds, but was blocked by the Present of the Middle Infield, as old stalwarts Zack Cozart and Brandon Phillips still existed, wore Reds uniforms, and played 81 games a year at Great American Ballpark.
