MILWAUKEE — While the Cincinnati Reds’ intentions remain clear, almost nothing else is – for them or rival contenders – as baseball enters the final week before a trade deadline as unpredictable and variable as any in recent memory.
Reds GM Nick Krall called his club’s position “status quo” as the club left this week for an 11-day road trip said he couldn’t begin to predict how much – or even if – the roster would change by the time the team returns home Aug. 4.
“We haven’t made much progress at this point,” he said ahead of this week’s Reds-Brewers series.
