For the first time in four years, the Cincinnati Reds will have a normal Opening Day at Great American Ball Park.
Opening Day in 2020 didn't have any fans when the season started in July during the pandemic. In 2021, there was a capacity limit for the GABP crowd. A lockout meant the Reds started on the road last year, traveling to Atlanta for Opening Day.
Finally, things are back to normal. First pitch between the Reds and the Pittsburgh Pirates is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. Thursday (TV: Bally Sports Ohio and Local 12; Radio: 700-WLW).
