Dick Williams resigned from his president of baseball operations position Wednesday, creating a vacancy at the top of the Cincinnati Reds’ front office.
Williams led the front office for four years, succeeding Walt Jocketty in 2016. Owner Bob Castellini said in a statement, “we are going to take a closer look at the structure of our baseball operations before making any decisions about replacing him.”
If the Reds do fill Williams' position, here are some potential candidates for the head of the baseball operations department:
NICK KRALL – Reds, General Manager
Krall just completed his 18th season in the organization and his third as the organization’s general manager.
