CINCINNATI -- The Reds were hitless through seven innings and trailed going into the ninth on Monday night at Great American Ballpark, but came back to win, 2-1, on Dilson Herrera's pinch-hit, walk-off single with the bases loaded.
The win snapped a four-game losing streak.
Cincinnati trailed 1-0 going into the ninth inning, and was down to its last at-bat when Eugenio Suarez blasted a solo home run over the left-field wall off Cardinals closer Bud Norris. Jesse Winker and Tucker Barnhart kept the rally going with singles, and Adam Duvall drew a walk to load the bases for Herrera, who lined a first pitch from Norris into center field for the winning run.
