Sonny Gray threw a live batting practice session on Friday that lasted for two innings and about 30 pitches against a few teammates including Mike Moustakas, Tyler Stephenson, and Mark Payton among others.
“It went great,” said Gray after the outing. “Today was a good day. I’m doing good. Today I threw in live BP, The B game or whatever you want to call it. I don’t know how many pitches, maybe 30. I feel good, I felt good. It was definitely a step in the right direction. Now it’s just kind of going from here and I guess going through and building myself up to game situations and getting back in there as soon as I can.
