Earlier this afternoon the Cincinnati Reds announced two different roster moves. The first was that the San Francisco Giants have claimed left-handed pitcher Wandy Peralta on waivers. The second move was that the team had activated catcher Juan Graterol from the concussion list.
For Wandy Peralta, this will end his tenure with the only organization that he’s ever been with. He signed with the organization as an amateur free agent in August of 2009. The Dominican Republic native worked his way through the farm system over the next seven seasons before making his Major League debut in September of 2016.
