Gennett 17th in MLB history with 4-HR game

When Scooter Gennett busts out of slumps, he really busts out.

The Reds utility player had the night of his career in Tuesday's game against St. Louis, becoming the 17th player in Major League history to hit four home runs in one game, going deep in the bottom of the eighth to cap his feat.

Gennett's fourth homer gave him 10 RBIs on the night. Gennett, who ended an 0-for-19 slump Monday with the game-winning two-run double vs. the Cardinals, drove in the first five runs of Tuesday's game.
