GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Cincinnati Reds RHP Lucas Benenati gave up two runs in the eighth to break a tie, and the Reds fell 7-6 to the Seattle Mariners on Sunday at Goodyear Ballpark.
Benenati gave up three hits, including a double, to go with a walk and a sacrifice fly to give the Mariners a 7-5 lead. Reds C Chad Wallach clubbed a solo homer to right-center in the bottom of the ninth to make things closer.

RHP Rookie Davis gave up some hard contact, but also struck out seven in 4 2/3 innings in his final Cactus League start.
