You may have had on your calendar that today’s starter for the Cincinnati Reds in their game against division-rival Pittsburgh was slated to be Andrew Abbott. That’s not wrong, that’s just outdated.
Unfortunately, the Reds lost yet another member of their would-be rotation to the injured list on Friday, as Cincinnati placed Abbott on the 15-day IL with a strained throwing shoulder.

As the above tweet from the team indicates, RHP Alan Busenitz was called up from AAA Louisville to help round out the pitching staff in the meantime.
