With a goal of completing the Major League coaching staff by the end of November, the Reds introduced four hires to David Bell's staff on Wednesday.
The Reds announced Freddie Benavides will be the bench coach next year, Delino DeShields will be the first-base coach, Lee Tunnell will be the bullpen coach and Jeff Pickler will be the game planning and outfield coach.
Billy Hatcher, who was on the Major League staff for the last 13 seasons, will remain in the organization as a minor league outfield/baserunning coordinator.
Earlier in the offseason, the Reds hired Derek Johnson (pitching coach), Turner Ward (hitting coach), Donnie Ecker (assistant hitting coach) and J.
