Former Cincinnati Reds outfielder Josh Hamilton will be inducted in August into the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame, the team announced.
Hamilton, who turns 38 on Tuesday, was a five-time All-Star for the Rangers from 2008 to 2012 and the 2010 American League Most Valuable Player after the Reds traded him in December of 2007 to Texas for Danny Herrera and Edinson Volquez.
