The Bats kicked off the weekend with a hit parade, beating the MudHens 8-5 on Friday. The Bats had 15 hits on the day, with 4 of them coming off the bat of Brennan "Who's the" Boesch. Boesch went HAM on the Hens, going 4-4 with a double, a walk, and 5 RBI. Irving Falu "Kuti" had 4 hits on the day as well, going 4-5 with 4 singles. Donn "Papa" Roach wasn't great, but he didn't really need to be, giving up 5 runs over 7.1 innings with 4 strikeouts and a walk.
