Jose “Porky” Lopez got roughed up big time. He gave up eight earned runs over five innings on six hits, three walks, and two strikeouts. But, hold on, the bullpen really did some things afterwards. Four shutout innings were pitched by “Slippery” Sal Romano, Alex “International Man of Mystery” Powers (2 K), Ian Krol, and Cody “Rec Spec” Reed (1 K). Brian “Where’s The Beef” O’Grady went 2 for 4 with a two run ding dong and a walk. It’s his twelfth homer of the year.
