Today’s trophy actually is split between 2 players: Robert Stephenson and Tony Santillan. Bob Steve bounced back from a rough first start and went 7 strong innings, giving up only a single run and struck out 10 against 3 walks. Santillan was even better, going 6 innings, giving up no runs on 1 hit with 2 walks and 8 strikeouts. For Stephenson, it was nice to see him come back from a bad outing and do the things he was doing at the end of 2017. This was Santillan’s 2nd straight outing without giving up an earned run on the season.
