I don’t wanna get ahead of myself, but I think this kid Jesse “Balls, Hit Strikes” Winker might be pretty good at this baseball thing. He went 3-for-3 on Wednesday for Louisville with a double, two walks, and four runs driven in. I promise, having a guy hit like this at AAA and having everyone at the big league club hit too well to warrant being replaced by him is a good problem to have. “Bye Bye, Li’l” Sebastian Elizalde chipped in with 2-for-3 showing that included a solo homer and a pair of walks, while Darnell “Head, Shoulders” Sweeney “‘s and Toes” made his Bats debut in center and went 2-for-3 with two walks as well.
