Josh "Boring Name" Smith continues to pitch pretty effectively in AAA. Smith would pitch 6 innings of shutout baseball. He gave up 4 hits, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts. Ryan Mattheus and Steve "Delawhat?" Delabar finished the game to keep the shutout. Mattheus struck out two in two innings pitched and Delabar secured the save. That Bats only had three hits in this one, but the clutch RBI single was made by Carlos Truinfel. One point of interest in this one is that Jesse Winker was ejected. Winker was given an automatic strike in the 6th inning for not getting in the box in time.
