- On Friday, the Bats lost a slugfest to Columbus, 11-7. Michael "Sofia" Lorenzen didn't have his best stuff, giving up 5 runs on 11 hits and a walk in 6 innings. The silver lining, though, were the 7 strikeouts, which ties a career high. The combo of Jose De La "Soul" Torre and Pedro Villarreal coughed up 6 runs in a combined 2 innings of relief. Sexy Steve Selsky was 2-4 and drove in 2 to lead the offense.
