ST. LOUIS – At the end of the longest road trip of the season, which included a double doubleheader on the final two days, the Reds won their final game, but took another loss.
A few hours after Eugenio Suárez celebrated his 40th home run of the season, reaching a personal goal, he left the second game of Sunday’s doubleheader after he was hit by a pitch on the back of his left hand in the fifth inning.
