PHOENIX – The Reds are out of the playoff race, but third baseman Eugenio Suárez will have his own chase for the final two weeks of the season.
After Suárez reached his personal goal with his 40th homer on Sept. 1, he admitted he was setting his sights on Andrés Galarraga’s Venezuelan-record of 47 homers.
It took him only two weeks.
