ESPN baseball analyst Mark Teixeira didn't go easy on the Cincinnati Reds as highlights of Game 1 of their Wild Card series against the Atlanta Braves were shown on Baseball Tonight.
"Really bad baserunning," Teixeira said of the Reds' Nick Castellanos getting thrown out at third base on Joey Votto's single with one out in the top of the sixth inning of Wednesday's 1-0 loss in 13 innings. "In a 0-0 game, you have to be sure that you're gonna make it to third base. That was too easy of a catch and throw for Adam Duvall.
