MILWAUKEE – There are few people who watch the Reds as closely as Bo Thompson. Whenever there’s a close play on the field, Reds interim manager Jim Riggleman or bench coach Pat Kelly immediately give him a call.
Thompson is in his third season running the Reds’ replay reviews from the clubhouse. On computer screens, he has access to all the television feeds. The Reds have overturned calls on 37 percent of their challenges this year, which is 28th in the Majors.
