MILWAUKEE – A big focus for the final two months of the Cincinnati Reds season will be the development of young players, especially after they traded five players from their roster, but 34-year-old Donovan Solano isn’t worried about that.
Solano delivered a go-ahead RBI double with two outs in the eighth inning Sunday, and he added a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning off Brewers closer Devin Williams to lift the Reds to a 4-2 victory at American Family Field. Ross Detwiler earned the save, the second of his career and first since a three-inning save in 2014.
