Dick Williams, the Cincinnati Reds' president of baseball operations, said it was hard not to feel "bitter disappointment" after the team's quick postseason exit, but he believed the players and coaching staff should take pride in their 2020 season.
If there were any questions about manager David Bell or members of the coaching staff returning next year, Williams put them to rest in his end-of-season press conference Friday.
"I foresee this staff coming back. I do," Williams said. "What we went through as a group and the way they stepped up and prepared these guys, I think they deserve every chance to come back.
