Reds president of baseball operations Dick Williams did not drop any clue on who the next manager will be, but he made some news by saying who it won't be.
Hall of Famer Barry Larkin is not a candidate.
"I talked to Barry number of times," Williams said. "Barry’s not a candidate for manager next year. He and I have had great conversations about his future with the organization. He’s really happy with his current situation.
