David Bell after Cubs' comments on Amir Garrett: 'They don’t know anything about our team'

Chicago Cubs manager David Ross and shortstop Javier Báez criticized Amir Garrett's actions after striking out Anthony Rizzo, which eventually led to the benches clearing in Saturday's game.

Garrett, who has struggled this season, struck out Rizzo in the eighth inning. He shouted and pounded his chest several times. Báez barked at him from the dugout and Garrett yelled back at him. After Báez jumped the dugout railing, the benches cleared. No punches were thrown and there were no ejections.

Ross said he thought Garrett was trying to instigate something. Báez said Garrett was being disrespectful to Rizzo and the Cubs and that he wasn't going to stand for it.
