Former Cincinnati Reds great and Reds Hall of Famer Dave Parker will not go into Cooperstown's Baseball Hall of Fame as part of the Modern Baseball Era Committee's vote for the Class of 2018.
Parker was among nine former Major League Baseball players and one executive on the 10-name Modern Baseball Era ballot, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum announced last month.
The ballot was reviewed and voted upon Sunday at the Baseball Winter Meetings in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
