The Cincinnati Reds are one of four franchises who have never had a Cy Young Award winner, but that could change next week.
Trevor Bauer was named one of the three NL Cy Young finalists Monday, alongside Chicago's Yu Darvish and New York's Jacob deGrom. The winner will be announced on MLB Network on Nov. 11.
Bauer posted a 5-4 record and 1.73 ERA in 11 starts, striking out 100 across 73 innings. He yielded two or fewer earned runs in all five of his September starts, helping the Reds to their first postseason berth in seven years.
