Cincinnati Reds to remain 'very vigilant,' but they've had no additional COVID-19 cases

The Cincinnati Reds activated Mike Moustakas from the 10-day injured list and placed Nick Senzel on the IL without an injury designation before playing their first game in five days on Wednesday.

The Reds had one player test positive for COVID-19 on Friday night and they postponed games on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. They had no additional positive tests, so they were cleared to resume their season.

Dick Williams, the club's president of baseball operations, said there are three players who were identified in the contact tracing process that will continue to be monitored closely. The three players were cleared to play Wednesday, but they will receive additional testing and will likely travel separately to St.
