Tim Adleman will be the starting pitcher on Sunday in the series finale against the Pittsburgh Pirates, making his big-league debut at age 28. The right-hander will be starting in place of Raisel Iglesias, who felt a “pinch” in his throwing shoulder, per a report from the Cincinnati Enquirer’s C. Trent Rosecrans.
Adleman is not currently on the 40-man roster, so another move will have to be made to either designate someone for assignment or move a player to the 60-day disabled list in addition to making a transaction to get him on the active roster.
