Nick Senzel has not had a bad rookie year, but he also didn’t explode onto the scene as some folks thought he might. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft made his Cincinnati Reds debut on May 3rd and his been with the big league club ever since. While Senzel’s adjustment to playing center field hasn’t been without its challenges, he’s done well adapting to the new position.
However, there are some pundits and fans who’d like to see Senzel return to the infield in 2020. After all, this was the first year Senzel has ever played center field, due to the fact that second base was previously occupied by All-Star Scooter Gennett.
