Heading into the offseason, Anthony DeSclafani plans to spend time developing his curveball and changeup.

DeSclafani, who described his season as frustrating, knows hitters are trying to sit on his fastballs and sliders. It’s likely a reason why he’s struggled the second and third time through lineups.

“It’s tough when you’re kind of struggling to add that third pitch and make it useful,” he said.
