Cincinnati Reds start Jim Riggleman's tenure with a loss to St. Louis Cardinals

ST. LOUIS – The Jim Riggleman Era began like the Bryan Price Era ended: With a quiet loss.

The Reds fell to St. Louis Cardinals 4-2 Friday night at Busch Stadium. The Reds have lost three straight to fall to 3-16. They’ve scored only two runs over those three losses.

It was Riggleman's first game as big league manager since 2011.

"It wasn't like riding a bike," he said. "I was very excited to get the opportunity. But, again, I preface everything by saying this is about Bryan Price and the respect I have for him.
