Looking for another starting pitcher to add to the rotation, the Reds are signing Wade Miley to a two-year, $15 million contract, according to a person with knowledge of the deal.
Miley had a 3.98 ERA in 33 starts with the Houston Astros last season, striking out 140 batters in 167 u2153 innings. The Reds will have a $10 million option in 2022 with a $1 million buyout.
The Reds should have one of the strongest rotations in the Major Leagues next season with Sonny Gray, Luis Castillo, Trevor Bauer, Anthony DeSclafani and Miley.
