In a relatively quiet offseason for the Cincinnati Reds in terms of offseason signings, they signed reliever Steve Delabar — an under-the-radar bounce-back candidate — to a minor league deal on Friday, according to Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer and later confirmed by the Reds.

Delabar, as recently as 2013, was an All-Star selection as a non-closer reliever for the Toronto Blue Jays. He finished that season with a 3.22 ERA (2.72 FIP) with 82 strikeouts in 58 2/3 innings.
