Cincinnati Reds sign former Angels reliever Cam Bedrosian to minor-league deal

On the eve of pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training, the Cincinnati Reds signed former Los Angeles Angels reliever Cam Bedrosian to a minor-league contract with an invite to camp.

Bedrosian, 29, was in the Angels' bullpen for the last seven years. He had a 2.45 ERA across 11 appearances last season, striking out 11 and walking six in 14 2/3 innings. He missed nearly a month with a right adductor strain in August.

In 2019, the right-handed Bedrosian posted a 3.23 ERA in 61 1/3 innings. He struck out 64 and walked 22. His season, however, ended a month early because of a forearm strain.
