ATLANTA – It was a decision that was looming throughout camp, but Robert Stephenson said it felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders when Reds manager David Bell informed him that he made the team.
Stephenson and reliever Matt Wisler were competing for the final spot in the bullpen and they were both out of minor league options. Wisler was reassigned to minor league camp Tuesday and he will likely be designated for assignment Thursday.
After the latest cut, the Reds essentially finalized their 25-man roster.
