Cincinnati Reds' rotation order is the camp's worst-kept secret

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – It’s the worst kept secret in the Reds spring trainin camp. The club has not announced an Opening Day starter or the order of the rotation.

But last year’s Opening Day starter, Luis Castillo, went first, followed by Sonny Gray, Trevor Bauer, Anthony DeSclafani and Wade Miley. It’s a solid bet that that will be the order once the season starts.

“We haven’t told the pitchers,” Reds manager David Bell said. “We’re getting very, very close to knowing who it’s going to be. But we’re just waiting a little bit longer. If we announce it too early and tell the pitchers too early, and something either happens, and things can throw off that schedule a little bit.
