GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Amir Garrett, pitching out of the bullpen for the first time in his career last year, admits there were times his arm was tired in the second half of the season.
The left-handed Garrett had a 2.76 ERA across 42 u2153 innings in the first three months of the season, then posted a 7.40 ERA over 20 u2154 innings in the final three months. He knew it would be a learning experience.
“There was times I was really tired,” Garrett said. “I feel like now I know what to expect. Definitely prepared way differently.
