Tyler Mahle bounced back. His last time out, the rookie right-hander dealt with lower velocity that was more concerning given he’s now pitched more innings than ever before in his life. And early Wednesday, those fears seemed justified. Mahle was not sharp, walking three and giving up four hits in the first three innings. He worked out of jams, each time leaving at least one runner in scoring position.
