Tim Adleman gave up just one hit over eight inning. Adleman gave up a single to his second hitter, Andres Blanco. Then he faced the minimum all the way until the eighth.
Adleman missed out on a complete game, but settled for giving up one hit over eight shutout innings. At one point, he retired 16 batters in a row, a streak broken to start the seventh when Blanco drew a leadoff walk.
