Robert Stephenson, the Cincinnati Reds’ top pitching prospect, has been placed on the minor league seven-day disabled list. He left his last start after two innings with what was described as a “wrist cramp.”
Yesterday, Triple-A Louisville manager Delino DeShields told The Courier-Journal that Stephenson would only miss one start and would “be back in the rotation next time around.”
Obviously, that will not be the case, as reports today indicate that his injury is a bit more serious than a mere cramp.
