As the Cincinnati Reds made their final roster decisions ahead of tomorrow’s Opening Day game against the Detroit Tigers, they dropped some unfortunate news on us, too. It appears that Anthony DeSclafani is dealing with a teres major strain in his throwing arm, and has been placed on the 10-day IL to begin the season, the team announced on Twitter this afternoon.
The #Reds today placed RHP Anthony DeSclafani on the 10-day IL, retroactive to Monday (mild right teres major strain). The 30-man roster is at 28 players.
