GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Reds pitchers allowed 13 hits, five walks and two homers in an 11-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Thursday at Goodyear Ballpark.
Lefty reliever Brandon Finnegan walked two and allowed four runs in the eighth inning, including a two-run homer to Braden Bishop down the left-field line. The Reds dropped their record to 4-7-2.
Injury report
Nick Senzel (left hamstring tightness) returned to the lineup Thursday and Curt Casali (offseason hip surgery) made his Cactus League debut as a designated hitter. Casali is expected to catch on March 10 as the Reds ease him into games.
