The Reds did not offer a contract to infielder José Peraza or right-handed pitcher Kevin Gausman before the non-tender deadline Monday, sending both players into free agency.
Peraza, who will turn 26 in April, was projected to receive $3.6 million through arbitration this offseason, according to MLB Trade Rumors, but the Reds already filled his spot by signing Mike Moustakas to a four-year, $64 million contract.
