Cincinnati Reds outfielder Yasiel Puig homers in 1st at-bat against Los Angeles Dodgers

LOS ANGELES – Yasiel Puig certainly knows how to live up to the big moments.

Playing at Dodger Stadium for the first time since he was traded to the Reds in December, Puig crushed a two-run homer over the 395-foot wall in center field in his first at-bat against Los Angeles Dodgers lefty Clayton Kershaw.

Puig stood at the plate for a few seconds to watch the flight of the ball before tossing his bat toward his team’s dugout. It was his second home run of the season.

“We’re excited to play here and face Kershaw,” Puig said before the game.
