As soon as Cincinnati Reds third baseman Mike Moustakas was eligible to return from the injured list, he was back in the starting lineup and batting cleanup on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Moustakas had been out with a non-coronavirus related illness since April 14.
“It’s great to have him back,” manager David Bell said. “It’s good that he’s healthy and feels physically ready to go. He got a few days in of good baseball work, too. Not only physically not being sick but also ready to go from a baseball standpoint.”
