Reds pitcher Michael Lorenzen will make his first start since 2015 when he takes the mound Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Bobby Nightengale, Cincinnati Enquirer
MILWAUKEE – Michael Lorenzen made his first start since 2015 against the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday and he will likely make another start when his spot in the rotation comes back up Sunday in Miami.
Riggleman said if it wasn’t Lorenzen starting Sunday, it would be another pitcher from the bullpen.
It will not be Homer Bailey, who was removed from the starting rotation earlier this month.
